Below are the measurements developed or validated by Dr. Tan and his collaborators.

Attitude towards Singlehood Scale (AtSS)

The 9-item Attitude towards Singlehood Scale is developed for respondents to report their attitudes about singlehood.

It is now available in English and Japanese versions.

Demoralization Scale Mandarin version (DS-M-15)

The 15-item Demoralization Scale Mandarin version (DS-M-15) is developed to investigate the demoralization of non-patients. It has been validated among high school students and undergraduate students in Taiwan.

Self-Rated Creativity Scale Malay version (SRCS-M) for Adolescents

The 10-item SRCS-M is adapted by Tan and colleageus (2020) for secondary school students to self-report their creativity.

Filial Piety Scale Malay version (FPS-M)

The 16-item Filial Piety scale is developed by Yeh and Bedford (2003) to measure filial piety attitude. Tan and colleagues (2019) translated the scale into Malay version and validated it.

Self-Rated Creativity Scale

The 12-item self-rated creativity scale is adapted by Tan and Ong (2019) for individuals to self-report their creativity.
